Giggle Man

Today I spent the day with my friend Samantha while my parents were at work.... And I like her. She's cute. I kept smiling at her, so she tickled me. And guess I did....I giggled. Like a schoolgirl.

Mr. GQ

Check me out, I should be on the cover of GQ. I'm all prepped out in my plaid pants and collared shirt. Gramps said I looked like a little man in this outfit instead of a baby.

HELP!

HELP!!!! I'm being mauled by a 20 month old!! HELP!!!! Why is it my big sister loves to pick on me. Does she not realize that one day I'll be bigger and stronger than her and she'll pay for all the torture she puts me through right now? Oh just wait... Oh yes.
And I'm already starting to work on my muscles. This week, I joined the gym. The playgym that is. I've started batting at the objects hanging above me! And I discovered if I push on the pad with my feet, it will play Mozart for me. I'm so smart. Everyone is waiting for me to roll over and to giggle now.

Giant J

Currently my big sister Daphne and I share a room. But that doesn't mean much since I'm still sleeping in the bassinet in my parents room. So pretty much it means my clothes and Daphne are sharing a room. But before this week, it still felt like her room. Why, you ask? Well, because the wall had a giant D. Where was the giant J? My mom finally got off her lazy butt and painted me one! Yeah! So now the wall has both a J and a D. Both are painted white, but have been "aged" with sandpaper to show another color underneath. Daphne's D has green, and my J has yellow (the same color as the hallway). I'm just happy because now it feels like my room too. (even if it almost a tad girly to have my inital on the wall larger than life)

Skelator

Since Halloween is fastly approaching, the discount stores are stock piling all those cheesy little kid outfits. And of course, my parents had to pick up something for me. Hence, I have to wear this stupid glow in the dark skelaton onsie. And Daphne has a shirt with a black cat... And Mom had to take our photo together (so cliche). And I wanted the little chair all to myself, so I threw a temper tamtrum trying to get Daphne to get up. She thought it was funny.... Dang it didn't work.

Sleeping

My parents are very grateful that I am a good sleeper. I take one or two naps a day that are almost four hours long. And I sleep about ten hours at night. My mom says I'm the best baby in the world (take that Daphne!). But the problem is that the hours I am awake, I like to be held. And not just held, but you have to stand up and bounce. Yes, stand and bounce. Anything else is unexecptable.

Meet Malachi

My parent's friend's Amy and Austin recently had a baby son named Malachi! So my buds so far include Mcalister and now Malachi. Where are all the women??? My mom's friend Debbie recently had a daughter, but I haven't gotten to meet her yet. Anyway, Malachi lives in Arkansas, but I did get to meet him about a week and a half after he was born. He was pretty swell. And as you can see, he was a big baby! In the photo above, I was two months old and he was two weeks old. And....we are almost the same size! His parents are going to call him Chi (said like the beginning of the word "kite") I can't wait until next summer when our families will meet up half way at the Lake Cabin!

Pray for Pa Pa

Last Thursday evening, Pa Pa was admitted to the hospital. Please keep him in your prayers. We've spent all weekend hanging out with him so he's not lonely, so that's why there wasn't any new photos posted this weekend. I'll try to get a few posted this week though, as I have a few playing with my new friend Malachi and also from playing at the hospital with Pa Pa.

Bumbo Growth Chart - Two Months

I'm officially two months old now, and that means a Bumbo Growth Chart photo! And this month I am a lot more used to the bumbo, so I wasn't bawling my eyes out. I've grown a lot this month! In case you are wondering, I was placed in the truck bed of the Tacoma.

Working with Mommy

My mom works from home several days a week. She normally takes Daphne and I to her friend Samantha to watch us while she works, but sometimes she starts before she takes us over or she works a little longer after she picks us up. Now, I normally don't mind this, but the other day I didn't want her to set me down. So she continued to work while holding me. Gramps came upstairs and witnessed this event and snuck in a few photos before Mom realized she was caught on film... As long as I am in her arms, I'm pretty content! See how big I am getting now? And I really can focus on things now. During dinner, they set me in the bumbo chair and I watch food from the plate to their mouths - which surprises everyone because they didn't think babies did that at two months! And this morning when Daphne was watching "Puppy Races" cartoon on TV, I watched it too!
